Remember that post I put up around November 2006 talking about the new Simpsons opening. I didn't realize until tonight that they REALLY changed the opening when the show went completely in HD. I assume that live-action opening was just temporary and was NOT there to say as the old post says otherwise. The new, new opening is there to stay. Now we have the opportunity to remember when the old opening was on every new "Simpsons" episode. These days we have the new high-definition one to look forward to. They changed it to bring the opening into the 21st century. What do you think of HD "Simpsons"? Long live the "Simpsons"!

Remembering "Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends"

First post of 2009. Sup ya'll! Yeah, I don't do this blog much anymore because I have this thing called a LIFE! I've been living it. I have work stuff and family to take care of. Anyway...

Well, I was afraid this day would come now i'm finally doing it. Yesterday (don't ask me how it was because it didn't see it because I had no idea it was going to come on)other Foster's fans (other than me) said goodbye to Cartoon Network's hit series "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends." The last few episodes were played. Like I said, I didn't see it. For me, I knew the series was ending soon I just didn't know when. Enough of that. The final episode was called "Goodbye to Bloo." I was really upset to find out I have missed it. Now it will take the next 100 years to find the episode anywhere. Since I haven't seen the episode yet, I will not review it now. I will when I see it in about 100 years. I'm sure, from what i've been reading, the series was ended in a very emotional yet comforting way. I predict we are never going to find such an entertaining, high quality show like this again.

It's been a real, real honor to be a fan of this fine series. I've enjoyed seeing the highlights of this show starting when Bloo moved into the home and all the wacky adventures following. I will finish this reminensence from the past as soon as I post the review in 2109. I admit, I wasn't the best fan ever to live but, overall, this series was one of the best shows I have ever seen and one on the best shows I have ever reviewed, in my opinion. Will they think of anything this great in the future? Let's see what happens...

My first one in 2 years.

From December 1-19th (I should have posted this but I was too busy) Cartoon Network was playing repeats of "iMucha Lucha!" Two each weekday. The bad news was they played it at unreasonable times. Those times where when I was at work and not able to watch it as much as I like. Once I started watching again, on days I get out of work early, they were playing the "Gigante" episodes. They're not as great as seasons 1-2 but they are better than nothing. Maybe CN decided to play it because they have nothing else to play. I wish I can see more reruns again. What a wonderful Christmas present/gift from a network I hardly ever watch anymore.

OK, on with the real reason i'm posting this. I have to tell you I don't think I can keep up with blog anymore. Everything happens so fast now. Maybe that's why this was the shortest year this blog has ever had. I'll probably do more post in 2009 but there will be pretty few of them that year. I don't want to totally abandon this blog because I've had it for this long. There will hopefully be more things I need to tell you and maybe there will be thing you need to tell me that I might post on here. Like I said i'm tired of this blog but I want to keep going because this is one of my first blogs and I want to take care of it as much as I can. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and hopefully have a Happy New Year. Enjoy '09, it might go as fast as this year went.

So if you are going to a NYE party, have fun, be safe, and don't drink and drive. Remember drink, drive, go to jail.

I was never a big fan of 4Kids and I never watched it but the problem is, like I've been saying for a while here, I don't watch too much TV. There's nothing worth talking about. Hmm. Since about September 2007, on Saturday mornings, I would watch the programing on Spanish network Univision. I figure it would strengthen my Spanish speaking ability to help me with my job. About everything else on TV on SatAM is nothing but garbage. There are many reasons why certain networks stop showing cartoons where they were in the past. I'm just rambling on and on about nothing is on any more 'cause I need to put something on this blog. This is just news for people who liked 4Kids TV and need to hear news about it.

Right now I am posting the 100^th post of Vic's Review. This a milestone to this blog. Yeah, I haven't been as active in my account as I wanted to be but at least I made it to post 100 without any getting into trouble with Blogger. This is my second post using Microsoft Word 2007. It's pretty cool. If you want you should try it on your blog. All I watch these days during the week is Simpsons and Family Guy. They are also my Sunday Night Cartoons along with King of the Hill and American Dad. During my spare time, I watch old commercials from the internet. Other times I just find some stuff I haven't seen in years or haven't caught before and just watch those.

Bad news for "King of the Hill" fans

If you haven't heard already, FOX MIGHT finally pull the plug on its long-running animated series. The site http://www.tvweek.com/news/2008/10/king_of_the_hill_canceled.php as well as other sites announces KOTH's cancellation. This show has been cancelled several times yet FOX keeps bringing it back with new episodes. Will this be the final cancellation of KOTH? Let's find out. King of the Hill is a great show and I would hate to see it leave. But with this show, you'll never know what FOX will do next with it.

Before election, I was going remind you to vote but things got busy and I didn't get a chance. Obama won. GObama! Lol! Cute thing I made up, huh?

Well, this was the 100^th post of Vic's Review. Hopefully, there will many more great ones in the near future. Subscribe to me so you won't have to miss all the great stuff I have to say. I have to admit the things I've been posting lately are probably not that great. Maybe another 4 years from now I will have post #200 and you never know what I might have up here by that time. This is pretty awesome.

I haven't been updating much because there is hardly anything to talk about these days. It seems like only yesterday I was ranting about "Nick's World Wide Day of Play" and how I think it's not the best idea. Now here we are 99 post later. The 100th one will come soon so stick around for that.

Remember the times when I would talk about "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" almost all the time on here? These days I go on cartoonnetwork.com's schedule and it's no where to be seen on there. I read the show will be ending soon. I can't believe I'm gonna say this so here it goes: I think it's good that "Foster's" is ending. It had a good run. Every week, I look through the CN schedules for it and I never find any reruns-not even new episodes. I am not sure when the last episode will air but I hope it will be a really proper ending. Hopefully soon I will find out the exact date so we can watch it.

Other than that, everything else new is pretty much crap. Almost all the shows I fall in love get cancelled-sometimes pretty quickly. The cartoons I watch on tv are like Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, and King of the Hill. I watch them on Sunday nights on FOX. I would update on them but I have this thing called a LIFE! I have a job, family, and other things to take care of so you can't expect a new post from me 24/7. I look for cool stuff on YouTube some of the time. I hardly post on blogs anymore so the best you can do is to subscribe to me and check periodically if I updated anything.

Well, this is all I can say for now. This is the long post for the year...probably. Just let me say I am blessed to have this blog especially for this long. I love this blog so much that i'm not through posting stuff yet because I want to post what I have to say. So the best you have to do is to subscribe to me and see if I post anything else. Be sure to stay tooned for the 100th post coming soon. It will be a real milestone for this blog. Be safe and I will be back with more soon.

Welcome back everybody from a 2 year hiatus. I would have posted something sooner this year but there was something wrong with my posting thing. OK, so starting this year, prepare for a reformatting of this blog. I'm not watching many cartoons on tv anymore-they are all on the internet. So you'll see me post some stuff-heck maybe a couple of youtube clips. Just hopefully I'm be able to post more stuff while I can. Sorry for the long wait. I hope we can still be friends. A reason, I might have said this before, I don't post much is partly because to me there has been nothing but garbage these past few months. "Good Wilt Hunting" Review

Firstly I have to tell you Happy Thanksgiving. This will be my first post on my Blogger beta account. I've been on blogger since '04 and I was known as fostersfan666. I loved it a whole lot. Now I have ot use my gawdy hotmail address. I've been using it since 11-10 and I am NOT enjoying it. We all have to move on sometimes, right?

I finally got to see the lastst "Foster's" tv movie "Good Wilt Hunting" just now. "Good Wilt Hunting" is about when Wilt goes to find his creator to appoligise for ruining his basketball dream. The TV movie aired yesterday when I was out of town for the holiday. I finally got to see it tonight. This is what I thought about it. As a "Foster's" fan of 2 years (to me 2 years is a really long time), this show has lost some of its touch but not enough of it for me to just slip out. This movie was one of the things that gave the show some of its touch back. Of course, it featured Wilt, one of my all time favorite characters and the movie tells us who created him and why he's been living at Foster's. This movie is for a determined "Foster's" fan. This movie gets 4 stars. Still very good, not all the way, but very, very good!

CN Friday's has never been the same

Seriously. I've been noticing this for quite some time. Of course, it was Tara who led to it's downfall. Back then, it was pretty much bumpers, creative skits, game time, and a lot more goodies. Now look-cruddy skits, annoying bumpers, gross kiddie games, and the worst part ever-time robbing musical guests. Every time a song is sung or the encore of a song I mute the TV. They don't belongs on Fridays. Heck, they don't even belong on Cartoon Network anyway. I think I'm more used to the first seasons of Fridays as opposed to today's Tara era. And I've been noticing that it's been ending earlier. Why? I'm sorry but these days I don't watch as much Friday night cartoons as much as I did-oh say-a year or two years ago. The bottom line: for me Fridays has offically Jumped the Shark. End of story!

I'm sorry for the lack of info last month. I've been noticing I haven't been watching as many cartoons as I used to. I think it started when I turned 20 during an out of state vacation. But I do have some things to tell you have I haven't mentioned on this blog before. I would end this blog but that, to me, would be a big negatory. I'm very bad at giving things away. So I'm just gonna do my best to update this blog when I get a chance. So just stay tuned and like I used to say: "Never stop loving your favorite shows". Well I gotta go now. Well, well, well, it seems like "someone's" coming into the campaign industry. I've been noticing, whenever I watch Cartoon Network, when a promo comes on, at the end, it has Bloo from Foster's... says "Cartoon Network." After that a banner under the CN logo shows up. After Bloo says "Cartoon Network," you hear Fred Fredburger(?) from Billy & Mandy say "Yes" in his usual annoying voice. I read someone say that on Boomerang they play long promos and they use that same "yes" with them. This might be a summer slogan. It probably might be used when the summer is over. If anyone wants any proof they can see here: http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/promos/summer2006/ .

Do you notice how Disney Channel and Nick don't use slogans anymore? Now look at CN with "Yes." Minus the voice of Fred Fredburger, it seems like one heck of a slogan, even though it's not much. There can be a lot worse things than that. But I ask, what are we saying "yes" to? "Good" shows? We'll never know.

I updated my SBC browser and when I have 2 windows opened at once and I minimize a window to see another one, it just comes up by itself and it won't let me edit the way I need to. And when I try to edit the post, It doesn't have the whole post. The previous post isn't complete, I don't know why. But, hopefully, i'll might find out. More news and rants later.

"Johnny Test" and "Coconut Fred"

Well anyway, i'm here to put in my 2 cents for two replacement shows listed in the entry: "Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island" and "Johnny Test." I found out what "Loonatics" was. It was terrible. "Coconut Fred" and "Johnny Test" were both very good. The saddest part is that, I'm not sure about the Test dude, but news that saddens me is that "Coconut Fred" is over. I found this out today that the last 4 episodes aired every Saturday in May. I didn't know that. Maybe WB will reair them the next 4 Saturdays. I know it might seem like a stupid, poorly animated to others but to me and other people, I really like it. 5 stars. It was a sad thing to hear that it's over.

What about "Johnny Test"? Like "Coconut Fred," I didn't fall in love with it the first episode because I wasn't there. When I first saw it, I was laughing and I was begging for more. And, as you know, I have been coming back for more. One thing that turned me on was Johnny's cool looking sisters Susan and Mary. And he has a dog named Dukie (did I spell that right?). Again, another 5 stars. The theme song makes it better. It would be six stars but you should know by now that I don't do that.

The 2 shows I just now reviewed were the only 2 shows that kept me watching WB. Now that WB's cancelling one of them or both, I have nothing to watch on there. You striked me again, WB. I hope your happy.

That's new!/Family Guy Lookout

If you watched the Simpsons tonight on FOX and has seen the opening, you may have noticed that it was live-actioned. That's right, that was the brand new opening to the the Simpsons and I betcha it's here to stay. I think it was taped in England. I can tell because 1) The first or second thing you see it the school. It looks like the schools they have in Great Britain. 2) Because of the way the real Simpsons are styled, they look like a typical English family. And 3) If you look closely that part when real Marge and real Maggie were driving, in America the steering wheel is on the left side, that steering is on the right side, the way most countires have their cars. Oh, and I forgot, 4) When they're in the driveway, those DO NOT look like American license plates. They look sort of British. And those are the reasons why I think the opening was taped in England. If you haven't seen it yet, see it in the next new episode, I'm not sure when. If you have, what's your opinion?

CBS & WB merging

This is old news but I have to let you know. This is one of the articles I have found during my quest over the i-net: http://money.cnn.com/2006/01/24/news/companies/cbs_warner/ .This fall, CBS will merge with WB to develop the CW. The "C" stands for CBS while the "W" stands for Warner. UPN will go off the air as well. But CW will show most of the shows that are hits of UPN.

Now I have a question, is there gonna be a kid's block on CW? What will it have on it? What I suggest CW does is to leave off where they left off on the cartoon shows. That way all those kids that don't know what's happening can be consoled by their classic laughs. Well there has to be. Probably CW will have to follow the E/I rules that the other broadcast networks have to follow. They don't like following that rule but they are forced to do it. They do it for all those kids who don't have cable.

I betcha most of you are thinking to yourselves that this was a lame post. Yes it was. But the truth must be told. I must prepare you for the fall season. Let's see how this merging this works out. I'll put up some reviews and better stuff soon. VMM HAS SPOKEN!

I looooved tonight's new X's

You bet I did! And don't worry, someday i'll do more reviews other that "Foster's" and "X's". It's just i've been tied up in knots these days. Let's go on.

The first part: well, it was pretty good but the main thing I wanna discuss is the 2nd part. A kewl part:

Now when was the last I saw the exact year in a cartoon, eh? Like I normally say I'm gonna wait 'till you see it. I don't wanna spoil it. But I have to spoil a little for you so don't feel too satated. Mr. and Mrs. X are at a fancy French restaurant. Glowface's men break in the restaurant. When they fought, you should see them. They fought them in a romantic way that made me smile. S.N.A.F.U. thought it was nasty (hey, i've seen worse. In fact today I saw something nastier. This is a kids' network. There shouldn't be anything nastier than that.) but I thought it was absolutely beautiful. More spoiling coming up. They were gonna fight S.N.A.F.U on the moon and afterwards they were gonna "make out". I seriously know what "make out really means but in Nick's case, it means something more harmless than that. This episode gets 4 stars. The first episode brought it down a little but the 2nd part just made those other stars. Overall: very,very good! I'm still impressed. I haven't given up the love yet. It's bound to happen eventually. I gaurentee it.

SPOILER "One False Movie" Review

Another "Foster's review?" You got it! I just hope i'm not overdoing them.

Today, February 9, 2006, Cartoon Network aired the latest episode of "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends." One word: WOW! That movie that Bloo made was well worth the money. Sadly, it had no ending all because, here's the big spoiling part, Eduardo taped over it with his Dora-the Explorer (shrugs) type show. In the "Foster's" version of "Dora", the girl's not Mexican and it can be annoying like the girl can repeat stuff over and over until it gets inot Eduardo's head. That made me laugh. OK, back to the real thing. One of my favorite parts when Wilt was singing in that vortex-type thingy that leads to the future. He has a nice singing voice. And of course, I'm leaving everything else out until you watch it. I highly reccomend this episode. 5 stars! I also like that computer-animated Eduardo. The animators must of had fun with that.

Oh, and be on the look out for Craig McCracken (the creator, also the guy with the bags under his eyes) and hear him call out for a Lauren. That was THE Lauren Faust he was calling. They didn't show her but I read somewhere she's a characturture of Frankie (that means Frankie's character design is based on Faust's looks). It all goes from there...

HYPOCRITES!!!

Last night, I was expecting new episodes of "Catscratch" (more about it someday) and "The X's". What did Nick replace them with?

6:00: the first 30 minutes of the "Jimmy/Timmy Power Hour 2-When Nerds Collide"
6:30: (instead of "Catscratch" I think) the 2nd half of the movie above.
7:00: Drake and Josh Go Hollywood
7:30: (instead of "The X's", I'm positive) it continued
8:00: continued
8:30: Spongebob
9:00: off the air

Earlier this week Nickelodeon advertised there was gonna be a new "Catscratch" and "X's". Did Nick even tell us the new eps were gonna get replaced. Why did they do it? Low ratings? They should of warned us if they were changing the Friday night schedual. Maybe they did. I don't watch much Nick as I used to. I was busy this week.

Nick had better show those new episodes someday. I've antisapating them them all Friday. (sighs) All that exitment for nothing. They said they were gonna do it but they never did. That's why I called this entry HYPOCRITES!

Note to Nick: (If your reading this): DON'T DO THAT AGAIN. IF YOU ADVERTISED (announced) YOU WERE GONNA AIR SOMETHING THEN SHOW IT, DANG IT!

A "late" Christmas Danny Phantom Review

Vic here! Man, sorry i'm late with this review. I wanted to do this the day I did the most recent entry. I didn't get the chance 'cause my uncle wanted to use the computer. I wanted to do this today before Christmas Day. I was very hypocritical these past few days because I was just caught up in the Christmas Spirit. I'm gonna do this today.

Mr. Hartman has outdone himself again. This was one of the best Christmas specials i've seen in the 2005 Christmas season. Nick has been showing this several times this year I haven't got a chance to watch all of them. I was a little late for the first showing. Why? It's ABC's (American Broadcasting Company) fault. "Charlie Brown Christmas" ended late. I was pretty upset about it. This was one heck of a Christmas special. Especially the way the writers made the story rhyme. How Clever! I can't say the summary of this ep. You must know why.

The rating: 5 stars. Very, very good. I was laughing through the whole eppie. WOW!

Happy "Belated" Thanksgiving, everyone!

The title says it all! I hope ya'll ate so much Thanksgiving grub until you whole heart gave out. While we were all eating all this delicious food, Nickelodeon had its annual "Nicksgiving Weekend" Marathon deelee. Which brings me to my latest review about Nick's latest Nicktoon:
The X's
"The X's"? That's the name of the show. Nick just aired 3 eps. tonight. It totally kicked major booty. It's about this family of secret agents. They consist of Mr. X (1 st in command and the father), Mrs. X (mother), Tuesday (yep, spelt like the day of the week) X (older sister who thinks otherwise of her family traditions and jobs), and Truman X (youngest of the four X's). I'm gonna leave everything else for you to find out once you decide to like it. Their job: To save the world from S.N.A.F.U. led by the evil Glowface. O.K., I know this is a brand new show to the world and we all haven't haven't decided if we like it or not (if you have seen it tonight), but I hsve made my decision. My rant: Awesome! Acceptable! Wonderful animation! Mr. (Carlos) Ramos has outdone himself. Probably once again (this may be his first time to make a cartoon series but he has bone so much on other show that he adds a bit of spice to them). My review for now: 4 stars. It was the dog "Rex X" that might hold the show back if they show him in every episode. Rant ended. You can find out about Rex when you last episode of the episode played toinight. I forgot the name but you'll might find out soon.

The worse part was that guy who does Ned on "Ned's declasified School Survival Guide" was giving us tips on being a secret agents like the X's. Even worse, before each ep. came on, he would tell us what it's about. I'm much better with watching it myself and learning what it's about. And there was a lot of filler stuff that made the last episode end about 3 minutes before 8:45 before "Spongebob Squarepants" aired to end Nickelodeon for the day until tomorrow. But all in all-what a wonderfull night. I hope that "The X's" has a good, long run with lots of ratings and fans. I could go on but I have to end this. It's very late at night. I might introduce this show to my uncle. He loves cartoons. He'll might like it. Now here's a show with a very good start and hoping to have a very happy end. This show will be on again at 8:30 central time (replaces "Spongebob"). At lease that's what I read on: http://www.hey-arnold.com/Arnold/arnold.

Nickelodeon said there will be no 4th season of My Life as a Teenage Robot because the ratings are just not enough for that many episodes. Like I said, I've been a fan of the show since the start I thought my like for it wouldn't go this far. But I was wrong. The bad news was communicated to the readers of the Teenage Roblog on October 17. Two years and 16 days after the show debuted. And at first I thought it had such low ratings in the first place. There's just one thing to do: tell people to watch it, whether they like it or not. Why heck, they might even like it at first watch. If that doesn't work, e-mail Nick at Nick.com or write them:

Bad news for "Thornberry", "RP", and "Hey Arnold" fans.

I was shocked to wake up this morning to find out that at 5:00 am (central time), the Klasky-Csupo created show The Wild Thornberrys (1998) and Rocket Power (1999) have been taken off the Nickelodeon schedual. Not to mention one of my other cancelled favorite shows Hey Arnold (1996). I'm not much of a Thornberrys fan, but Thornberrys has been replaced with a even worser show (I'm not even gonna say it right now, it's sooo horrible). Arnold, at 5:30 am, has been replaced by Teenage Robot. OK, I absolutly love Teenage Robot, but not that early in the morning. I'm not sure what Rocket Power was replaced with, but my biggest concern is with Hey Arnold.

I am so disapointed with Nickelodeon that they threw out a gem of my middle school girl years. The ep. that was supposed to be on was from probably somewhere in the 1st season. The begining of this series (1996-1997), just by watching them this time of my life, takes me back to the late '90s where nearly everything was just a field of dasies for me. In later episodes, it was the first time I hear the word "crap" in a Nickelodeon series. For those who are reading this and have "Nicktoons", they'll probably still play "HA" on there like what they do to the other old and outta production Nicktoons (another one, "KABLAM! Very good series. Another flashback show. Do they still play it on "Nicktoons"?) Sadly, I don't have "Nicktoons" so I have to live with my video tapes---yeah, especially since they have fair quality and I bought them in 1997 and 1998. I hope they keep well for a while during the next few years. I hardly play them. Like I said, It's a too darn shame that Nick kicked out one of my favorite Nicktoon gems out the window. RIP.

For thoes fans of the other shows, even thought I don't like them (although, I liked them at one point), I have sympathy for you folks. You all had your moments with the shows at lease once or twice or more, It's time to let go and go on for the rest of your lives. Find something new to watch. You'll might forget all about it. Who knows, Maybe the eps.'ll go out on DVD someday. I feel your pains, fans. But, hey, life goes on!

Atomic Betty "Halloween"?

I don't know where to start 'cause this is my first Atomic Betty review. Although this show has been mentioned about twice during the one year this blog has been around. According to the copyright date at the end of the ending credits, it said it aired last year (2004) so this rewiew is quite late. This aired during Fridays. They claimed this was a Holloween episode, though I saw nothing Holloween about it. It looked as if it were just a typical episode. Tajja Isen (Betty) was a guest star. Now I finally know what she looks like. She wasn't how I expected, but she proved she was Tajja "Atomic Betty" Isen none the less. Also, her singing's OK though (the singing was near the end of the 2nd 15 minutes).

As I heard, this episode of "Fridays" was supposed to consist of about all Holloween episodes of cartoons. There was probably some hidden holloween stuff in this Atomic Betty, but I could barely find it. I'm sorry, this doesn't deserve the whole 5 star thing. I did manage to get some "ha-ha"'s into this. I liked, in the second part, I turned on closed-caption and muteded it. While reading the captions, I just seemed to managed to read the captions a loud in character. That was fun until "Tajja's" song came on. I had to unmute the TV just to sing it with her.

The real rating: well, this is on the verge of very good and average. I'm gonna pretend to be a applause-o-meter and give this "whatever" ep. 3 1/2 stars (there goes that half system, again). Like someone on Independent Movie DataBase said, "pretty decent...BUT WHERE'S THE STORY!"

I don't watch this show as much as I used to because I so busy with stuff. And, of course, I'm not gonna watch it like at 6:30 am. It's more of a late morning-late day show for me. I like the humor of this show and how it written...this may not make sence, but the storylines just don't appeal to me anymore. I could tell from the begining what's gonna happen. When Betty has to do something on earth, she always has something to do in the galactic world. Not just that but 15 minutes is just not enough. We need the whole 30 minutes to see a decent adventure in space. I'm saying: the storylines are the same everytime. Good show, but we need a lot more than that (just as long as it doesn't jump). 3 1/2 stars is where it stays at. Yep!

Scary Godmother 2: The Revenge of Jimmy

Yes, it's the Scary Godmother again and she's back in another 1 hour special on "Cartoon Network" called, (see the title). Compared to the one from last year, as I think now, I have no favorite. I like both of them the same. In this sequal, some of the times, they reminise back to the first "SGM" and... you know, make the story. To prove it...someone said, "last year, I or someone did or said something" blada, blada, blada. I have to say this, they did have the party scene with thoes cool backgrounds when they have a dancing montage. This year, the whole gang came. The same characters from last year were there. Most everything about that movie was absolutly fabulous. Although there wasn't that kick-butt music in the opening, but they had it during the dance scene. And, if you look cafefully at the "control room" screens Harry was in, each screen has a flashback from the last movie. You would probably recognize them if you have seen last year's movie (if you took my advice and actually LOOKED AT THE SCREEN and LISTENED TO THE STORYLINES, YOU'D KNOW WHAT THEY ACTUALLY MENT AND WHERE THEY CAME FROM.) And, like last year, if this special ever comes on again or if you have seen it, don't reccomend this to your parents. If you did; man, will you have some weird parents afterwards. OK, since I really liked this Holloween special, like the first one: 5 stars! And, like I said last year, "It has scary and wierdness and a little humor all packed into one really cool special".

If they make a third one, I'll do my best to review it, though I doubt it's gonna be as good as the 1st 2. It'll probably be as wonderful as the others, but hey, who knows. God willing NO MORE SEQUALS! Two's enough. Thank you.

If they ever show it again, watch it again and don't invite your parents.Hope 'ya like it!

It's been 1 year...

Tonight, at 9:22 pm, this blog turn 1 year old. Time runs fast, doesn't it? I don't know what happened, but does it seem to you that the newer post are less attractive than the earlier ones?
And you know what's even worse? I haven't got up to 100 post yet. Some people's blogs, by the first year, would get up to 95 post by the 10th month. It's just sad that there is currently 73 post on this blog. Besides, I haven't been doing very many reviews since whenever. As crazy as this sounds, I counted, I did 18 reviews during this whole year. All the other entries are news, anniversary, and complaint entires. I should start doing more reviews this year. That a resultion. I hope this blog keeps running and keeps going strong for years and for years to come.

I was searching http://toonzone.net forum when I came across this topic that said something about Nick Animation in Burbank, California CLOSING DOWN!!! That's right, closing down according to http://www.cartoonbrew.com. For thoes, who work there, I hope they find animation studios that are just as good as NA (like, for instance, in their own basements. Most cartoonist I know work in their basements.) All the worrying about this might cause some of my favorite cartoons to "Junp the shark." I probably said this once, though I'll say it again (slightly different), I wonder how the people who work (or worked there) feel about finding places to draw, write, and tape their shows to send to the Nickelodeon for us good watchers. The building came in business somewhere in 1998. The animation studio had to die young, didn't it? Well, I'm not sure if it's true or not because I only saw the article in one place. Probably Butch (Hartman) said something in his forum about it under the news section. I'm really sad to hear that the Nick Animation building at 231 Olive Ave. in Burbank, C.A. is moving. The reason they have to move is probably because they need a larger pad of area. If you are clear why NA is moving, let me know. And, like it said at Cartoon Brew, for those who work there, "it's never too early to begin dismantling the building fixtures and starting your own Nick Studio memorabillia collection.

Should Nick get rid of "My Dad the Rockstar?"

On this day in the year 2003 in Canada on Teletoon at a unknown time, MDTRS debuted for the 1st episode as Welcome to Silent Springs which, when debuted on Nick 1 year and 5 months later, was the same one. But that's not why I doing this post.

One thing I want to talk about is when will Nickelodeon get rid of MDTRS? I'm just asking. Also, from watching each episode (excluding the Christmas one) 4-6 times, they all started to get stale. If they really did get rid of it, what will I miss of it? Well, The characters were fun to look at (i.e. Willy, Rock, Skunk, Alyssa Quincy). And I think that's about it. And, of course, there's the DVD that's coming out on the 20th. If it's rentable, I'll rent it when I really miss it. One ep. I haven't seen yet was, like I said, was the Christmas one (I forgot the actual title). Maybe Nick'll keep the show till the end of 2005, that way they can show the Christmas one (I hope they show it. My goal was to watch every ep. shown and made.)

And, besides, how good are the ratings? Remember when I talked about Martin Mystery? I take it they don't show that anymore. Probably because of low ratings. One of the reasons I watched that show was that Martin was a total hottie. Guess who made MDTRS? Gene Simmons, the former member of KISS, that's right. Maybe that's why they kept the show for that long. I think it was the programmers idea because they love rock 'n roll, especially KISS music. Yeah, I enjoyed watching Rock Zilla do his cool music and act all goofy and stuff, as for everything else, so stale.

Back to the anniversary part, I wonder what other fans remember this day. I don't remember when it first came on on Teletoon, but I remember when it debuted on Nick. Whoever remembers this day, wish it a happy anniversary and let's see what happens in the future. Will it get cancelled or is it already cancelled. Last time I checked, it was on hiatus. If it is cancelled, farewell, My Dad the Rockstar, I hardly knew 'ya.

P.S. If Nick does air the Christmas one, I'll try to review it. And also, this may be early, but, enjoy!

Fridays 100th episode --- hunnert?

Cartoon Network is currently airing the 100th episode of Fridays. The word of the day is hunnert (is that what it is?) And now, they're making a big stinkin' deal outta it. OK, I'll let it slide this time since it's a celebration and one of the block's milestone. But my only problem with Fridays these days is Tara (who, according to Tommy, has been on the show for 34 eps., is probably the crook whom I should bust for making such a what used to be, a "cool" block, a living heck.) and because the kids always have to be so hyper and say things in the bumpers like "we return with "the all-new" (your show here), right here on Fridays." (or something like that) Who came up with that idea? That was such a horrible idea. If Nzinga was still there, I wonder how it would be like. Probably cool, calm, and collected, just how I like it. With children who can calm themselves and NO HOT CHICKS! (that means you, Tara.) And, If you would just look at the logo, it s confetti on it and the usual F with a 100th on the right of it. So, what I'm saying is that I want to wiah Fridays a happy 100th show and many more "great" (because of the cartoons) shows to go. Go Fridays Go!

"Billy and Mandy" review #1

This ep. first aired sometime in 2004. Well, that's what it said in the copyright date at the end of the credits. I saw this one yesterday. The first half was when this guy was taking everyone's nose and doing something with it. One of the things he was doing was he was scooping all the snot out all of them. He was taking them because he was jealous he didn't have one because he lost his somehow. It was wierd seeing Billy without a nose for the first time. And something that I have nothing to say about, is that in the credits, a doctor must of worked on it because the title "Dr." was in it. He must know lots about noses. He might as well be a nose doctor.He was producing some smell that makes Billy's nose run off while he's sleeping. And his nose could talk. His nose loved the smell.Is it just me, when Billy had no nose, he spoke funny. Well, duh, without a (working) nose, you can't speak normally. What a wierd part of an episode!
Then, of course, there's the 2nd part of the ep. Billy and his family are going to a wedding. Gladys, Billy's mom, gets him all neat and tidy for the occasion. Billy does his usual craziness by turning into "Tuxedo Man." When he jumped into the mud, Harold, his dad, jumped in also, just as neat and tidy as Billy was before he jumped in the mud. Mandy and Grim came along and Mandy said Billy was stupid (it's true). His dad thought otherwise. Dad explained why he thinks Billy is so intellegent. He was so teeny-tiny as a newborn. When Newborn Billy burped, his dad thought that was his first word. When NB Billy passed gas, his dad thought that was his first step.When he passed gas constantly, he would be like a motor car and just floats in the air. And when he had a toy, he just wouldn't give it up to anyone other baby. And so on and so fourth.
I better rate this before it get's any bigger. I never thought I had to do this, but starting now, I'm gonna do halves. 31/2 stars. That's between good and very good. The reason why I haven't been doing any Grim Adventures Of Billy and Mandy reviews was because I wasn't very strong at the time. I think I'm getting my strength back; although not very much. I'll probably watch one occassionally. But not most of the showings. Maybe one showing per marathon or something like that. OK, I'm done. VMM, signing off!

Happy B-day, Teenage Robot!

It was that summer in 2003 on this very day at 7:30 pm on a Friday night when "MLAATR" was first shown as a regular series. In case you didn't know, this was originally a cartoon short on one of Nick's cartoon anthology shows "Oh yeah cartoons" originally named "My Neighbor has a Teenage Robot." The animation was much more different and worse than the kind we have today. Before it first aired, they made a big deal outta it by playing a promo per every commercial break. Every time I looked at the show, I kept screaming in exitement. But then a few weeks later, I got over it. And that was good. We fans wish this show well and many more great years on the air. I still have my hots over it; and the fire has been burning for the past 2 years. 2 years, WOW! I can't believe I stayed with a Nicktoon for that long. It's normally I stay with one for either under one year or one year and 2 months. Not 2 years and whenever. I'm afraid that my fire will go out sometime in the 2nd year. Let's all hope the 3rd season is just as good as the other 2.

P.S. There's also gonna be a "Teenage Robot" movie on Nick on August 13. Let's see how that is. And may I also mention that Mtv aired on this same day in 1981. Mandy smiles...again?

OK, I have to admit, I haven't liked GABAM as much as I used to a year ago. This morning, I saw a Fridays promo. There's a new "Camp Lazlo" (see later article) and they said there's a new episode of "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy." They say it's the first time Mandy smiles. I could of sworn she smiled in a very early episode. Like that part when Grim said, "I love you" towards the end of an episode called "Meet the Reaper" (?). Then as it was ending, a circle was aroung Mandy's face and she seemed to have beared a grin. Maybe they mean in these newer eps. In the newer eps, no smiles for Mandy till now. But wait! Didn't she smile a little in "Crushed" when she thought she had a crush with Billy's new friend. Curse this bad memory. Well, this Friday, Mandy smiles once more. Grim and Billy encourage her to. I probably will watch it. It depends on how much TV I watch that day. Why, heck, I'll probably review it. Enjoy!

And guess what CNF's gonna do about it. Their gonna make a big deal about it by discovering the great gift of body language. Maybe it gives the "Friday's" host something to do to get the block more raitings...by trashing it up! I hate "Friday's" these days because ever since Tara came along, the kids have been getting anoying and on my nerves. The only reason I like it is because of some of the shows. And guess what I found out last week, THEY SHORTENED OUT THE THE FREAKIN' THEME SONG! I thought the longer version was bad enough. As far a I know, there is no way "Friday's" can straighten up now. Tara's here and she's there to stay. Farewell, "Fridays"!

Look, I'm sorry for the inaccuracy in the post above. Mac Daddy and Bye, Bye Nerdy are 2 different episodes. I'm sorry I lied to you. Please forgive me.
I thought "BBN" was pretty good. I especially liked seeing Frankie on her computer. I guess it goes to show that she's a lefty. How do I know? I noticed it because of where her mouse is. I noticed her mouse was on the left side of her keyboard. And also, (he-he. excuse me, my mom has to be a jerk about everything today. You didn't need to know that, didn't you?) of course, she was using her left hand. Well, that wasn't important. I have nothing else it say but this: the morale of the story was be yourself. Mac even gave the speech to the people who wanted to adopt Bloo. Then, after that speech, people thought Mac wasn't cool anymore. Whoever hasn't seen it, I'm not saying anymore. I give this one 4 stars. Why not 5? It wasn't as special as I thought it would be. But it was good.

"Foster's" on Kids' WB?

I believe so. According to the Toonzone forums, It will start July 9. I'm not sure wether i'm gonna watch it or not. I guess the old saying is true, "be careful what you wish for, it might come true." I was wondering when the day would come. It's not even gonna last a year. Probably because K.W.B. signed the contract to where it last less than a year. Same with PowerPuff Girls (sister), Kids Next Door, and even Samuri Jack didn't last long either. I hope it doesn't cause the show to jump the shark. Like I said, i've been watching the show since the beginning. It started perfect, it better end perfect, or else. Kids' WB is more oriented for anime. Really and seriously, "Foster's" is not anime (no action, not from Japan). Cartoon Network and WB are both owned by Time Warner. Time Warner must be on crack. Ah, well, let's just hope that the show gets good raitings there and enjoy it while it last. Remember: Never stop being fans of "Foster's." There's a marathon tonight starting at 6:00 central. Enjoy! That's right, folks! Tv Tome is gone and got replaced by http://www.tv.com/. So, if you look at the past post and if they have Tv Tome URLs in them, don't click on them. I might as well give you stuff I find in the new website; although there's not as much info as the old site, but who knows, I might find something interesting that I feel like showing you. You know, when I think about Tv Tome, I think about the good times I used to have. Like when I used to check news in a flash or that time I was reading the "Hey Arnold" goof guide that had bad words in them. I laughed my heart out. Tv Tome was much easier to navigate. OK, and I also think the tv.com list is safer because it saves the webmasters time and us websurfer bandwith. Once you get used to the site, you'll probably find some use in it. The Ren and Stimpy Show...

Guess what, tonight at 11:01 pm, central time, a certain network is going to show 4 of the classic episodes on...guess... Mtv? Vh1? Spike tv? Nick? If none of those, which one? You are not gonna believe this but they are gonna show it on, drum-roll, please... Tv Land! That's right, Tv Land! "RAS" is perhaps the first cartoon they played since Tv Land debuted in 1997. I didn't have it back then. Did you also know that all they played on that station was old commercials and older shows (i.e. "Mary Tyler Moore," "Have Gun, Will Travel," "The Phil Silvers Show")? I gave my "SO" a tape that had the old crap on there. These days there is newer stuff (i.e. Hunter, 1980's, they played older stuff back then, like what I said.). I wonder how good the raitings will be. So, if you watch it, I suggest that you enjoy them. The good eps., as some fans call it, ran from 1991-c.1992. Why did they stop? They stopped because the people working on the show got fired from Nick. That's why people are saying it "jumped the shark" when that happened. I hope they're good. VMM, signing off!

P.S. I felt as if I had every right to do this entry. I've seen Nickelodeon show the show and Spike Tv (the "Adult Cartoon Party"), but TV Land? That's just flat-out strange. Once again, I hope they show it.

The Life and Times of Juniper Lee

Has anybody seen this show. To me, I think it's just another piece of brillance from Cartoon Network. My uncle likes it, too. Now, I'm gonna review the first ep. It's called something "It's Your Party and I can Wine If I Want To." It's pretty good. It was pretty funny, too. In the begining of this ep., there was this overhead sign that had the name of the city the cartoon takes place in. Orchid Bay City to be exact. That was a great was to start off a series. The peoson whoes responsible for this genous series is named Judd Winick. Whoever has info about about this dude, you know the drill (for thoes who are new to this blog, e-mail me!). We were introduced to the characters who are Jodi (friend), Juniper, Ray Ray (brother), Monroe (her dog who talks), Ophelia (who-looks-like-goth friend), Roger (friend?), and her Ah-Mah (granddmother; forbids June from telling people she fights monsters). The monsters that were there were the Leprechaun and the Racatan. One of my favorite parts was when Ray Ray was in, what I call, "crazy mode," he suggested they "buy" a cave. It's impossible to "buy" one but you can possibly dig one up or something like that. I'll say more later. Now I gotta rate it. This ep. gets 5 stars. Sorry, I can't help it! It's sooo good :-)!

Martin Mystery

There is now this show on Nickelodeon that's replacing "My Dad the Rockstar" in the 4:30 (central time) slot. It's called "Martin Mystery." It comes to us from YTV in Canada which is probably why people despise this show. Another reason is that the studio that created it is called "Marathon." It's also the studio they made "Totally Spies" (which I don't like as much). Call me crazy, but I like this show because I like looking at Martin. He makes me wanna smile :-)! This show came on Nick US on about May 16. It's about Martin and his step-sister, Diana, and their caveman friend, Java. Together, they fight evil and save people from being attacked from crazy things. I hope it's gonna be on later today at 4:30. It's not as good as MDTRS, but it does good to me.Watch it and believe me! Enjoy!

Hey Danny Phantom fans, guess what!

I'm sorry for the lack of updates these past few days. My computer keeps acting up and i've been busy with stuff. Well, anyway, in the Butch Hartman forum, Butch says that Nickelodeon has renewed Danny Phantom for a 3rd season. Spread the word, everyone!!! And there are also new episodes coming this June. I can't wait. I hope they don't stink because i've been liking the show since it came out on April 3, 2004. If I like one, i'll review it when I get the chance. Let's now come back to the subject of updating. I'll probably do more post this summer if there's things to be discussed. This one seemed to crack me up a little. Did you know the original name for this ep. was called "Bye-Bye, Nerdy?" I'm glad they changed the name. It fits the story plot better. Did you notice any puns in there (ie: Mac and Cheese, "Bloo Cheese," I made this one up, Mac and Cheese with "Bloo" food coloring. There was also "Cheese, Louise" (Cheese's creator)). In my opinion, Cheese seemed a little idiotic. What do you think? "I like chocolate milk." This is pretty much all I can say for now. I'm wondering what other people thought of this one. This one gets 4 stars. I feel as if this ep. doesn't deserve that last star. No offense, people who like this one.

April Fools Day/ Nickelodeon's birthday

April Fools Day, everyone! Did you also know that Nick was launched on the same day twenty-six years ago? Yep, it was that that spring in 1979. Last year (June 2004), they actually celebrated by doing this thing in U-Pick live called "The Old-School Pick." It was great while it lasted. It lasted for only 2 weeks. I could of sworn that they were gonna do it all June. But on the 2nd week, we just got a whole week of "Danny Phantom." And it went on for the rest of the month. I like DP ,but I rather see the old shows. I especially like to watch this "old-school Nick" show called "You Can't Do that on Television." Like I said, I'm into Canadian stuff. That's probably why I liked it. There was a sign that they were going to stop showing the old shows because one time, "YCDTOTV" won and guess what we got on the 2nd half after they went to a commercial break. THEY PLAYED A 15 MINUTE EP OF (ew!) "FAIRLY ODDPARENTS! (the ep was called "Spaced Out" which came out in 2001.) Even after that FOP, they said it was the "old-school pick." FOP's not old-school! It's 2001. That time "U-Pick" was probably pre-recorded. And for "YCDTOTV," that's like 1979 or 1980 (depending when it aired). Now that's old school! I miss it so. They did something last year because Nick was turning 25. You'd see things or famous people celebrate like their 20th, 25th, or 30th aniversary or birthday. It would feel pretty awkward to celebrate the 21st, 24th, or 26th. I doubt Nick's gonna do something special this year. Although, I liked what happened last year.

So, everyone, have a happy April Fools Day. Play pranks on people and don't fall for their jokes. And be sure to wish Nickelodeon a happy birthday, also. I will put more reviews up when I see something cool. VMM, signing off!

Earlier I saw a Cartoon Network Fridays promo and, to my understandings, there's gonna be a new Powerpuff Girls. I thought that show was gone and dead forever. I wonder if Mr. McCracken did something in it (which is mostly directing). The new ep. might be on at 6:15 (central time) because of that Star Wars: Clone Wars stuff. I'll do some research later. If the new ep. really happens, enjoy!

No offense, but I never thought this was a wonderful show. I'm just talking about it because it's by the same creator as Foster's. Like I said in the earlier post (see link above), this show had a good run for about 7 years (November 1998). And I said this about a few times; even the show left the air, (if your a fan) it never left your hearts.

Whoop! Yeah! We finally, last night, got to see, you guessed it, "Frankie, My Dear..." To me, it was awesome! This is the last time I might say this but we've been looking forward to this ep for a long time and we finally got it! Call me crazy, but I just loved Frankie in those dresses. And her hairstyles; just lovely! I thought her "then" boyfriend, Dylan, looked cute. Everything in this episode was cute and/or funny. I pick both cute and funny. I couldn't eat the baked potato I had that night because of that. It was also so funny that my Uncle Joe laughed and he almost passed out. Because of all these things, "Frankie, My Dear..." gets 5 stars. It has everthing I expect in a Frankie episode.

From "Welcome to Silent Springs" to "Blind Date"

It seems that since Nickelodeon has shown every "My Dad the Rockstar" ever made (see above), their starting over the eppie order which started with "Welcome to Silent Springs" yesterday. Today's eppie at (check local listings) is called "Zilla's House of Horrors." Then after they end with "Blind Date," who knows what will happen. Probably it will get cut from the line-up (not good) or there will be hope (pretty good). They will might put it on a weekend line-up. Let's just see what happens. If it does get "cut," let's think of this... I've said it many times and I feel like saying it again. Hoepfully Nick'll put another "exchange show" from an out-of-country sister channel (like Teletoon ("My Dad the Rockstar"'s home), YTV (I guess thats a sister channel. It's another Canadian kids' channel like Teletoon) or another foreign Nickelodeon station (other than the Austrilian one). No matter what happens, "MDTRS" will (probably) stay in the hearts and minds of us all for the rest of out lives. Even though it's left the airwaves (it migh have since it's on hiatus on Teletoon; it's probably never coming back). Enjoy "Zilla House of Horrors" and have fun!

Blind Date Review

Yes, it's a "My Dad the Rockstar" eppie. I really liked it. It's when Willy and Alissa look like their dating each other. Serenity gave Willy dating tips. 101 to be exact. And it was also Rock and Crystal's (Willy and Serenity's parent's) aniversary. Rock tries to take Crystal on romantic trips. He fails to do so. At the end, Rock treats Crystal to a dinner for 2 and serenades her with a song he wrote and played it on a piano.
Ah, love! A ritual invented to inspire love, joy, and togetherness. These were one of the eps that make me smile. I love Canadian love because it's... lovely. Another outdoing for the "MDTRS" team. This one get's 5 stars. And I noticed that when Willy jumps into the loveboat in the tunnel of love, it looks like their kissing; but their lips were not altogether all the way. And we also find out how Rock and Crystal met. If Nick plays a repeat, you'll find out. I'm gonna save everything else till you watch it. VMM, signing off!

Frankie, My Dear... (would you marry me?)

Butch Hartman signs a deal

On February 22, 2005 (possibly), Butch Hartman (The Fairly OddParents, Danny Phantom) signed a three-year deal with Nickelodeon. The deal was for him to create new animated and live-action shows for Nick (and I guess for Noggin, too).
That's sounds wonderful! I'll probably know how good the 3 years worth of animated programs will be. But with the live-action shows, I don't know. He hasn't made any live-action stuff before, although he has acted out in some in his day. I doubt they'll stay for even a 5th season. I'm not really a big fan for live-action stuff. That's why I hardly ever post reviews on live- action shows. But if I do feel like watching them, I hope, whoever's doing the casting, doesn't pick out any people with horrible acting. And I hope they won't get poorly written or lack of humor like "The Amanda Show" or "Zoey 101." And I hope the main characters are never-been-on-tv actors or actresses. They better not be people like Drake, Josh, or the girl who does Emma on
"Unfabulaus."

is the first time in the "Vic's Review" history that i've been talking about live-action stuff. I hope Butch's new shows go well and the three-year contract comes through. I hope conversations like these never come up here again. I will only do animated stuff to compete with thoes other animated websites. No "MDTRS" today!

That's right, fans of the, I guess, "unpopular" Canadian, Teletoon's hiatused series " My Dad the Rockstar," for some reason, it got replaced with this poorly written, unwatchable series "Zoey 101." Why heck, the "chick" who plays Zoey is none other than Jamie Lynn Spears (or should I say Jamie Lynn "i'm Brittany Spear's sister" "Beers"). Because she has her own series, she droped out of school because of it. Only her regular appearances on "All That" were bad enough. They could of just of played on more eppie if they are gonna do such a stunt. AND I THINK I PROBABLY KNOW WHY MDTRS IS LEAVING NICK US. PROBABLY BECAUSE 1. PRODUCTION IS ENDING or 2. NICK US DOESN'T HAVE THE MONEY TO PLAY SUCH A WONDERFUL, FORIGN, NICELY WRITTEN AND ANIMATED GEM. Or maybe 3. GENE SIMMONS (THE CREATOR AND EXCUTIVE PRODUCER) PROBABLY HATES THE FACT THAT ON JANUARY 1 THAT THEY REPLACED HIS BEAUTIFUL "BABY" WITH AN "BABY" WITH A UGLY, MISSHAPEN HEAD (and that's the "Amanda Show. I thing He gave Nick forgivness after that.) and 3. THE RAITINGS WERE PITIFUL! On this blog, I'm thinking of developing a "My Dad the Rockstar" support group. It finally happeded...again!

Kids these days watch so much tv that they memorize things they hear. Well, today was one of those days.I heard nearly every that got accepted talked about. They are: "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends," "iMucha Lucha!," "Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi," "Danny Phantom," and "My Life as a Teenage Robot." I especially enjoyed hearing about "MLAATR." I have been waiting for a day like this for a long time. And I finally got it. There were lots of other tv shows mentioned like "Fairly Oddparents" and "Spongbob;" but I don't care about them that much. Although, they are pretty good and I like to watch them occasionally, but i'm more concerned with the "Fab 5" listed above.
And Just to remind you, tonight: new "Foster's" @ 6:00, new Avatar: The Last Airbender at 8:00 (it's a pretty good series), and there's that new "iMucha Lucha!" movie "The Return of El Malefico (accent over the "E")" at i'm not sure what time. At lease that's all I can name for tonight. Well, enjoy tonights new stuff. I feel like I have to remind you this, but: never stop loving your shows ( unless they "Jump the Shark" for some reason). Like I said, I hope "Cartoon Talk" stays for a long time. Next time something like this happends, I'll tell you. VMM, signing off!

That's right, fans of the now ended show "iMucha Lucha!" Although, CN & WB are still showing repeats. It's not as much fun to show it on WB because WB's the network where they showed the newest eps. Oh, and you know what? I've haven't been watching WB in a while but the episodes they never (maybe) showed were "Asphalt of Doom," "Hot, Hot, Hot," "Getting His Goats," and "10 Rounds of Trouble." When WB shows repeats, they will probably show thoes 4 I just mentioned. The first they time someone showed thoes eppies was on Cartoon Network during Fridays (****).
So, my point is, even though "iMucha Lucha!" left the airwaves, it will never leave out hearts. Farewell "iMucha Lucha!" You've graced us with your brillance for 2 years.

Future Shock Review

This is a "My Life as a Teenage Robot" review. I promised you sooner or later that i'd post a "MLAATR" review "as soon as possible." Well, here it is; the first half of the ep that aired that Monday of January 24, 2005: Future Shock. This one, like others, was very funny. This one was one of the episodes where I get turned on to Brad. I'm glad he was in this one. He's so totally the star of the show. If they (the writers) would, for some reason, kill him off, the show will never be the same. I especially liked the part when Jenny was gonna do something and Tuck wanted to the same thing. Jenny said "This is a big girl job." Then Tuck says "I'll be a big girl." That was funny. There was funny stuff in there; funny stuff! This one gets 4 stars. That's the best I can give it cuz I give 5 stars way too much. I feel like I needed to back of a little more on the 5 stars. This one was very wonderful!

"It's going, it's going, and it's going, and yes, folks, it's finally gone! And it's gone forever!" Yes, that's what a sports reporter would say at a ball game. But instead of talking about ball games, there's one thing on my mind: "iMucha Lucha!." On February 26, 2005, the last (and when I say "last," I mean "LAST" eppie of Kids' WB's "iMucha Lucha!" will air. The last, memorable episode that will air is called "Blue Demon (a.k.a. The Magnificent Three"). You know, for the past few weeks, I've been skipping all my "i Mucha Lucha!'s" for mostly band, homework, and school (on certain days I have to get to school early because my mom drops me off and she has to get to work early). If you want to know what will replace "iMucha Lucha!" in the line-up, here it is (courtesy of Tv Tome.com)... (Check Local Listings)...

But seriously, like I said in the past, we can find new shows that can replace departing show. And also, there's hope. Thanks to "Cartoon Network" they will air the movie called "The Return of El Malefico" (there's an accent above the "E" in "Malefico," but I don't know how it's pronounced. And also, I don't know how to put accents over letters on a computer.) It primeres March 8. They are also gonna play this other movie called "iMucha Lucha!: The Code of Evil" on March 4. Chin up! We had this show grace the airwaves for 2 years and 6 months and you and the show had many great times together. I'm gonna miss this show as much as you do. That's what this blog is for; to tell what shows you should or shouldn't watch. I'll reccomend a nice show that is just as good as that. Even though I'll tell you about cool shows, It will never replace "iMucha Lucha!" in your heart. Please, buy DVDs, and other products so you won't miss the show too much. Willy Unplugged

Willy's exited about playing a cool acid jazz number on his trumpet at his school's talent night. but when Rock finds out, He tries to "help" by adding over-the-top theatrics to Willy's show. Then Q and Alissa try to get in on Willy's act - with less-than-musical results. Fearing that his father will turn his show into an overblown spectacle, but not having the heart to say it, Willy tells his parents that the proformance is the evening before the actual date of the show. When they arrive at Willy's school accompanied by an entourage that Rock has flown in from all over the country, they discover a "Talent Show Cancelled" sign (provided by Willy, of course). Unfortunatley, the school janitor passes by and sets the record straight.
Willy confesses the truth to Rock... and discovers to his amazement that his father understands. Inspired by that, Willy gently tells his two best friends that it's just not working out having them in his act - and discovers that being true friends, they've reachen that same conclusion, and bows out. Willy's show is a hit on talent night.

This one, I should say, is one of my favorite ones so far. That's why I'm reviewing it. I especailly liked it when Willy was playing his trumpet with that cool Jazz music accompanying him. Another "Must-see" for you to watch. I say this one gets 5 stars. This show is...

About "My Dad the Rockstar"

Remember when I told you that the Teletoon show "My Dad the Rockstar" was gonna air after the week of new "My Life as a Teenage Robot"s? Well, I was wrong. Instead of cool show, we got sucky show (and thats the poorly written "Amanda Show." ) But on February 7, 2005, it finally aired. I wonder what held it back. It's really great! It about this boy named Willy Zilla, and obviously, he's the kid with the dad who has a rockstar as an occupation. Willy also has a sister named Serenity, his mom's name is Crystal, and dad's (the rockstar)'s name is Rock (how orginal)! Oh, and did I mention about Skunk and Mosh. Skunk's one of those rodie-type people and he's always the dude whoes the recording studio operater. And Mosh was a stage prop who ended up being the family's pet. He happends to be some sort of big lizard or komodo dragon. And It all takes place in the glorious town of Silent Springs.
If any of you watched this show, you would of really thought that the show was pretty much Canadian if you would of paid close attention. If your a fan of using closed-captioning like I do, you would of found words spelled the way they should in Canada (i.e. colour, neighbour, favourite). You know what? I thought was very well made. In fact, I nominated this show as one of my "favourites" (next to "Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi"). As my friends (whoevers reading this), I reccomend this show for YOU. You heard me, for YOU! Just watch it and tell me what you think. Like I said, it's very good. It's on at 4:30 p.m. on Nickelodeon (check local listings). I'm gonna save everything else till you watch it. OH MY HEAVENS!!!

According to the "i Mucha Lucha!" eppie guide on http://tvtome.com/MuchaLucha/season3.html, there are only 4, 30 minute eppies left. They are called "Call of the Mild," "Smarticus/Niko Sushi," "Mars Madness/Fears of a Clown," and "Blue Demon." That's really bad news for us fans out there. I hope, after all the episodes have aired, they will still play repeats on "Cartoon Network." Please, Please, Please show WB or Cartoon Network you care by buying all the "i Mucha Lucha!" stuff you can afford." Like I said in earlier post, hopefully we will find more great shows like this. Let's just hope! Oh and i've been wondering since "My Hairy Knuckles/Brains, meets Brawn" about Rikochet's voice. It seems that Carlos Alazraqui came back and is doing Rikochet and, I guess, Mr. Midacarda's voice. For a while, I was asking myself if Jason (Marsden) got better at doing the Hispanic voice of Rikochet or Carlos came back. The answer: Carlos came back! I missed him a lot. This series was shooting for 52 eppies. It's almost to the goal. I hope the creators get good jobs by the time it's cancelled. We'll just enjoy the last 4 eppies as they last. We've had our fun for 2; almost 3 years (Aug. 17, 2002) and soon, it's about to end! Farewell!

"Partying is Such Sweet Soiree" is about when Frankie and Madame Foster leave for a day. Madame leaves Mr. Herriman in charge of the house. Coco makes a prank phone call to him about a refrigerator running. Mr. Herriman tries to catch it. While he was gone, Blooregard (Bloo) throws a house party. Everything went crazy and out of control.

Vic's Review --- Jan. 22, 2005

This episode was crazier than others. There were some references to songs I know and love. For instance, this part probably got cut out but it was when Bloo says something about "fighting for his rights to Party." The actual song is called "You've Gotta Fight for your Rights to Party" by the Beastie Boys. Then there is this part when Mac is full of sugar and sings in melody, "Pour Some Sugar on MAC!" All week, starting 1-24, there will be new eppies of "My Life as a Teenage Robot." They will be on every day, all week, at 5/4 central (Check local listings) after the Nick. com pick on "U-Pick, Live." We've been waiting a long time for these since February. I hope these are one (or 5) heck of eppies. I'll try to have reviews on 1 or 2 of them as soon as possible after I've seen them. If you miss all of them, it stinks to be you. Wanna know why Nick might be going to show a whole week of "MLAATRS?" According to the Don del Grande "hey-arnold. com" site, Don probably thinks their doing that is probably that Nick's getting tired of it already (that's what they did with "CatDog" (or should I say "CrapDog") and "The Wild Thornberrys." But "Thornberrys" is PROBABLY on hiatus; but, who knows? That's probably bad news for us "Teenage Robot" fans. Well, like I said; "who knows?"
Then the week after that (1-31), in place of "MLAATR," they (Nick) are going to show this show called "My Dad the Rockstar." It's a Canadian show (yes, like "Atomic Betty") which 1st aired on TeleToon (Canadian kids' network) probably on September 1, 2003 (according to TvTome). I wonder how good it's gonna be. On TeleToon, It's on hiatus. There is no sign of new eppies as TvTome says. I'm attarcted to Canadian animation so it better be good. I will probably get a review up here after I see it. New "Foster's" on Friday

That's right, "Foster's" fans, we've been waiting since October for new eppies; now were finally getting new ones. The eppie is called "Partying is Such Sweet Soiree." Then the week after that, it's called "The Big Leblooski." I hope their good ones. And BTW, that Tara Sl#! is still doing "Fridays." It's official, She's the #1 replacement for Nzinga. I guess we might as well get used to Tara. Like I said, she'll probably stay on "Fridays" for the rest of our lives... or the rest of her life. Well, enjoy the "Foster's" and "HAVE A 'LUCHA' DAY."

Bad news about "Cartoon Network Fridays"

The host of "CNF" are (or were) Tommy and Nzinga. On the Fridays of January 7, 2005, Nzinga was replaced by this "Bimbo" called Tara. So, my question is... "Where the h*?? is Nzinga?!" Nzinga's last appearance was on December 31, 2004. Would someone please... TELL ME IF TARA IS GONNA REPLACE NZINGA ON "FRIDAYS!" Ah well, we've had our times together. On the New Years Eve eppie, I guess she was hinting that she was never coming back; on account of, she sounded depressed. I felt sorry for her, too. Let's just get used to Tara. She's probably going to stay on the show for, probably, the next 5 years. If Nzinga is gone forever, even though her tv career has ended, she will stay in our hearts and minds for the rest of our lives. Farewell, Nzinga! You have reached the hearts and minds of us Cartoon Network fans from 2003-2004!

P.S. No offense, Tara! I'm Just giving out my opinion.

Another Friday afternoon! Just what I've been waiting for since the start of this year. At school, we went caroling at 2 banks and we had our party. Nothing much to say now. I bet you tonight will be like every other Friday nights i've had in the past. New "Puffy AmiYumi, a rerun of "Foster's" "Dinner is Swerved," maybe some "Danny Phantom," or "Teenage Robot." Some of them are at good times and good places and I can only get them in one place. All I can do till them is kick back, relax, and enjoy my Christmas vacation. "Why did I put this on the blog?" you may ask. Oh, I just felt like it. Just something to keep me busy before my "Cartoons" come on. If I see a good one, I'll tell you. What a day this has been; and I hope I never leave it!

GOOD NEWS! This is old news, but I just found out about it. Cartoon Network ordered 26 more eppies of "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends." It already ordered 26 before. The 52 eppies will make the 3rd and 4th season. So that means they already ordered the 4th season. I hope, someday, it gets a 5th season. So, so far, I guess the contract will go on till 2008. Since I don't stay with cartoons so long, I have a feeling I won't be there to see the end. Don't believe me, but here's what I predict: Foster's will might close down and Madam Foster dies of old age. I wish Craig McCraken (the creator) well these next few years. And remember: never cease being fans of "Foster's" and pray for that 5th season!

A "MLAATR" review

(As written on 12-10) 2 nights ago, Nickelodeon finally aired the "My Life as a Teenage Robot" Christmas-"A Robot for all Seasons." When I read a summary on Nick.com, I thought this one was gonna "lay an egg;" but I was wrong. It really kicked butt! Mrs. Wakeman, Brad, and Tuck were there; but I never thought Sheldon belonged there. I think it was for the best because in this one, he and Jenny finally kissed. It wasn't just any kiss, it was under the mistletoe. It was a mixture of "The Night before Christmas" and "The Grinch who Stole Christmas." This one is one of my favorite Christmas specials of 2004. I guess this one should get 5 stars. I especially liked the song. Very, very well done.

An early Christmas present

Well, tonight's the night we finally get to see the "My Life as a Teenage Robot" Christmas Special, "A Robot for all seasons." It has been 10 months since we've got a new episode. So set up your VCR's and DVD recorders. We will probably find out Brad and Tuck's last name. I'm guessing it's Carbunkle. It's the new world of Jenny; so don't miss it. According to the "Teenage Roblog," they said in 2005 that there will, one night, be 5 new eppies in a row! Let's just hope that will happen. You know how Nick is. Hopefully, they won't overstuff us too much. I will try to have a review up by the end of this week. Enjoy!

Have an "Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy" Christmas

(As written on Friday, December 3, 2004). Even though an ex-fan, I thought this one was pretty good. You know how some kids hate waiting for presents? Well, Eddy was one of those kids. He found the presents in the attic under a floorboard. When he found them, all he got was clothes. Clothes he didn't like. So he put himself up for adoption. He figured if no one in his family would give him a decent present, he wondered if some of of the cul-de-sac kids would give him one. One of the best parts was the opening. I liked how they did the opening credits. And, of course, the Kanker sisters were being their own kissy, girly selves. And, also, of course, Eddy was being his obnoxious self. Well, duh! All the characters were themselves. This was another thing Cartoon Network aired "tonight." This one get's 3 stars. It deserves that raiting for a, like I said, ex-fan. Still pretty good!

Teenage Robot Christmas

It has been determined that the "My Life as a Teenage Robot" Christmas special will be called "A Robot for all Seasons." Well, that's what tvtome.com tells me. The editor told me that "Yahoo Tv" was the name given. Oh, I just can't wait till December 8th that I feel like suing Nick for the rotten thing they did. They left me 9 months, Jenny-less. Hopefully, they won't delay this one, also, like what they've been doing lately. I also hope that its a good one, too, like all the other ones. For the new season, we just have to wait, because Nick just wants us to keep on gussing. For all I know, it's coming out in 2005. When it's one season after an another, it shouldn't be this far apart. Hopefully Nick will never do that in the future. And I hope we can survive through these days and like what we watch. Go Jenny Go!

A "Hi Hi Puffy" review

Tonight, Cartoon Network played a brand new eppie of the new series "Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi." Now, where to begin? Let me start with the first part. It was when Ami joined the circus to earn money to throw a "Band-iversary" party for Yumi and Kaz. I grew out of circuses a long time ago; let me tell you. But I liked to see Yumi in her jammies. Then There's the 2nd part. Ami and Yumi try to make money to pay the rent so Kaz could let them in to their tour bus, again. They make money by working at a candy factory. When one of the machines malfunctioned, Kaz decided to let them in again without making them pay a rent. Then the third part was when Ami and Yumi decide to enter a dance contest on tv (as to singing contest, "American Idol"). They entered so that can own scooters. They won and entered, but instead, they got bobble heads of the host of the show. It was a rip-off for Yumi. Overall, I give this one 4 stars. I bet you this took a lot of work of them to do. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, CREW! YOU'RE DOING GOOD!

On Friday, my team and I accepted this new Cartoon Network show called "Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi." To me, it was very good. It's about these 2 girls named Ami and Yumi and they play in a rock band together. This series was created by this guy named Sam Register. I do not know who he is. If you actually have a clue to who he is, you know the score (e-mail me)!
Today at school, we had our Thanksgiving party. During it, this boy started this conversation about this very show above. They were talking about the one called "Dis- 'I'm your biggest fan!' Harmony" (for fans, you know what I'm talking about). And this other one called "Ole!" It's about bull fighting. And thats all I can think about. I think there were more, but I cannot remember.
I know it's been a while since i've posted a review (hence the site's name "Vic's Review"), but I will try to eventually.
And for you new fans out there, like me, whatever you do, never stop being the loyal fan you are. Be who you are, and keep the raitings going!

New MLAATR coming December 8!

That's right! The "My Life as a Teenage Robot Christmas Special" will finally primere December 8, 2004. Since February of this year, we have been Jenny-less. I was getting tired of seeing all thoes repeats. I know Brad is sexy, I know Tuck so hyper-active, and I now already know Jenny has super powers. It's about stinkin' time! I've been waiting all year for this. And did you know that day is the creator, Rob Renzetti's, wife's birthday. Nick's finally giving what's ours. They better not scare us again with that dumb ol' practice. So set up your VCR's and get ready for it. I hope it's good. If it's not, I'll start an angry mob in front of Nick Studios and chant "what's wrong with Jenny," or "me: 'what do want? People: Better MLAATR's! me: when do we want it? People: NOW!' iMucha Lucha!, iMucha Lucha!, It's a way of life!

Today at school, I was about to go to band when I heard someone talk about The Flea (One of the characters). The person who said it wasn't sure which show it came from. Then they started to talk about "iMucha Lucha!" So I dashed out as fast as I can and before you know it, I was at band. That was so I could not hear more about it. We would play so loud that we cannot hear them in the other room. It was a time of a lifetime. Once again, I will not forget about it.
Speaking of "iMucha Lucha!," my friend Brad and I were doing the dance to the theme song my cousin and I made up, and I accidently kicked him in the butt. I even told my Talking Teacher about it. It was so funny. A minute I kicked him in the butt, he said "You and I are 2 'iMucha Lucha!' fans on the go." And there's also gonna be a "iMucha Lucha!" marathon on "Cartoon Network" on Friday. Keep an eye out for that. He also made up this equasion; Cartoon Network+Friday+marathon+iMucha Lucha!= A "iMucha Lucha! marathon on Friday on "Cartoon Network." "iMucha Lucha!," even though it will be cancelled soon, will always stay in our heads for years and years to come.

that if you do not want to say the long name of "Cartoon Network's" cartoon "Foster's home for Imaginary Friends (Why heck, I'm getting tired of saying that long name, also), you can always shorten it out? You can say "Foster's" or "FHFIF" (abbreivate it). Whatever your comfortable with works as long as the persons' you're talking to understand you. I'm more comfortable with "Foster's" myself.
And some bad news for "Powerpuff Girls" fans
Have you heard that your favorite show went out of production? I don't know when it they said it left, but it lived a good 6 seasons since November 1998. I'm really sorry you had to hear that. Like I said on the "Mucha Lucha" post, we can always find another grand cartoon like that in the future. But the good news if that Craig McCracken (creator of ppg) is still working on "Foster's" (another thing he created). He's doing that instead of just becoming a hobo and begging for money and work on New York street corners. But CN just had to cancel it because it it was on the air long enough. I'm sorry, fans. You had your chance to have your fun.

Finally, a "Danny Phantom" review

Told you I'll have a review up by this weekend. Last night, Nick aired "Kinght Fright," and I like to review it.
It was a little duller than the other eppies that aired before it, but I did not loose hope for it. In case you didn't know, this was the holloween special for "Danny Phantom." I know it was action-packed like other episodes, but there was something missing to it and I can't seem to put my finger on it. There were also some parts when they showed how Danny and Sam love each other. That's pretty much all I can say about it. I need to see that one again. For now, this one gets 3 stars. That's the best I can give it for now. Maybe someday I can catch on to liking it. But the raiting is the best I can give for now.

It finally happened!

Ok, it's been a while since i've posted a review on this blog. But don't worry. Hopefully I have one up the end of this weekend.
Now, let's get on the real subject. When I was in art class today, all I heard out of some boy was "Do any of you watch 'Teenage Robot?' " I piped up as I said in my head, "it's about time someone mentioned about that show." That's pretty much what I've heard about that were those only 7 words. I was speechless.
I can't believe it took only one year for that boy to express his rejections. Mother of Wallace, I would just flip if I could say "I do," but our teacher won't let us talk in class. That was a time I would hopefully never forget! And I hope the "favourite cartoon talk" will last for years to come.

I have a few bits of good news for you guys who are fans of Cartoon Network's "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends." I was looking at the episode guide at tv tome.com, and one of my news is that "Foster's" probably got itself a 2nd season. And another thing, Possibly, there's gonna be an eppie were Frankie gets a boyfriend. Can't wait for that, can 'ya.
And also, some news that will probably upset you. There will not be any new eppies for a while. On friday, CN is gonna show "Store Wars." Hopefully, they're not going to do what Nickelodeon does when they try to air new episodes. Just be ready for new episodes when they come on. Remember: don't stop loving "Foster's"

I'm tired of waiting!

On October 1, new eppies of "My Life as a Teenage Robot" were supposed to air. The night before the new eppie was supposed to air, I went to Nick. com's tv guide, and they said that The Attack of the 5 1/2 Foot Geek" and "Doom With a view" were to air. I was all like, "Your kidding, right.". So, the day it was it was supposed to air, I checked the "Teenage Roblog" for news. They announced that the new "MLAATR" was delayed by those Buggy Men at Nickelodeon. That was the 2nd time it got delayed. Why Heck, I, and the rest of the fans, have already seen those old eppies and we pretty much know all the words to them.
If they NEVER show the new episodes, what would Nick do if all the fans got tired of seeing all those repeats over and over and over... again; and the show starts getting low ratings as an affect. Will they cancel the show for no reason like that did to "Zim," Or will they say, "Ok, the fans are getting 'cranky,' so I (the programmer) think we should GIVE THEM WHAT THEY WANT?" What do you think they might do when something like that happends? You be the judge!

"Mucha Lucha " fans BEWARE!

For those who watch and favroite show is the show named above, I got some bad news and probably some good news. The season airing will probably be the LAST season to air. And I bet you are so sad to have had heard that news. But, If i'm not mistaking, there's hope. :-) Cartoon Network will probably play some reruns for a little longer (like what they are doing to "Static Shock" and "Ozzy & Drix.) Now do you feel better? But please, don't take my word for it. I cannot predict the future. I do not have phyic powers. But I'll tell you this. This series will probably stay for 52 eppies. Poor series. :-( I bet you the creators are very dissipointed that their show, their baby, will get canned! And I also bet you that they are just as sad as you. But don't worry! As cartoon lovers, we can find a cartoon just as "Mucha Lucha" was. And we can catch reruns on Catoon Network. God Bless Cartoon Network and the show, itself. The show will just have a peaceful death and it lived a good life worth of 2 years. :-(

Ellerbee on TV

Guess what. During "U-pick Live," my Aunt Gertrude called my Uncle Joe because Candise was on (she's one of the hosts' of the show). Then, when he made it to the TV, none other than LINDA ELLERBEE, I mean THE LINDA ELLERBEE on TV. She was talking about that "kids pick the president" thing I keep hearing about. Then he's all like "Ahhhhhhhh! Run away!"
I felt like I had to say something about that because it was all funny and stuff. Kind of sounds like A.G. was joking him with some woman he dosen't like. I forget why he hates her, but he just does. He likes Candise better than that... Like I said, kind of sounds like a joke, eh? Well that's pretty much all I have to say about that funny little thing. And thats the end of that! Or is it? How I think of Rikochet's new voice

On September 11, 2004, WB showed a new eppie of "Mucha Lucha." But instead, it's called "Mucha Lucha 'Gigante'." And I noticed a change. And do you know what that change was?
If you answered "Rikochet's voice," your SO correct. In the original series, Rikochet was by Carlos Alazraqui. In the new series, Jason Marsden provides the voice. If you know what happened, E-mail me.
Jason and Carlos both do a very good job on Rik. But Jason's Rikochet does not sound as Hispanic as Carlos's. I mean, what do you expect? Like, believe it or not, Carlos provided the voice for the (remember) Taco Bell Dog. But if I were to choose between one guy, I would pick Carlos. Jason already scared away Frankie Munis who did Chester on Fairly Oddparents. And I thought Frankie did a good job on Chester. I like his voice better. If you know why Frankie had to quit, you know the drill.
I like both of Rikochet's voices, even though they are pretty co-equal. Both are still very good. And hopefully, they will stay that way for the rest of eternity. VMM signing off!

They speak "Foster-ese!"

Today, I was at lunch and I heard these 2 boys talking about that thing thay have on Cartoon Network when they elect a cartoon character for president (if you watch CN, you know what I mean.) When one of the boys mentioned that Eduardo (that big, purple imagnary friend) was elected for president. Then the other boy probably knew who the other canadites were, but didn't know who Eduardo is. The other boy explained.
Then thay started talking about Foster's eppies. They were talking about the episodes "Seeing red" and "Phone Home" (which is the only episode so far in the series with 2 segments insted of 1.)
I was really shocked when I heard Eduardo's name. I can't believe they continued talking about Foster's even more. I thought they were gonna say bad things about it. That was the first time I heard someone at school mention that show's name and plot. That was the most shoking moment I ever had with "Foster's," and I will not forget it! VMM signing off!
